Excalibur Dehydrators

We encourage students to throw out or sell their microwave and replace it with an Excalibur Dehydrator.  We don't recommend round dehydrators as they are are far too restrictive, they are limited to only doing fruits and vegetables (The Excalibur can also be used for yoghurt making and bread rising), you have limited temperature control  and these are frustrating to use!

My personal Excalibur Dehydrator goes constantly and I wouldn't live without one!

My recommendation is:

9 Tray Excalibur #3926T with timer
9 Teflex sheets  

This is the top of the line model, but is well worth the extra few dollars.  The five drawers are adequate for 1-2 people, however you will find that when making crackers or muesli etc the additional trays will save you time.  Ensure you get the teflex sheets, these enable you do a much wider range of dehydrating.
